Young, light, dynamic and in style with the mission of promoting new talents, the Saint Louis Combo is a slender team, composed of voices, rhythm (piano, guitar, bass, drums), 6 winds - the beating heart of the group - and all the energy of a Big Band, in pocket format! The strength of the Combo is its extreme flexibility and adaptability: depending on the context and the project, the staff makes use of various collaborations, with singers, choirs and electronic music artists.
The repertoire is original and innovative, starting from the standards of the jazz tradition to contaminate, refresh, question itself, thanks to the arrangements specially created by the students of the composition and arrangement course of the Saint Louis.
Space also for the American pop repertoire and original compositions, always by young musicians from the Saint Louis area.
