Unpublished concert by the trio of Enrico Pieranunzi in Bra (Piedmont)

The pianist Enrico Pieranunzi formed in 1984, with the double bass player Enzo Pietropaoli and the drummer Fabrizio Sferra, lo “Space Jazz Trio“. The band recorded two albums Space Jazz Trio Vol1 and Vol2. Starting from “Vol3” the name of the group will be changed by the leader to “Enrico Pieranunzi Trio”. Numerous concerts were held by the trio during its activity in Italy and abroad.
The tape containing the concert of Enrico Pieranunzi's trio in Bra was shared by Enzo Pietropaoli. The entire material recorded on analogue support was digitized and restored by the sound engineers of the Saint Louis College of Music in Rome under the supervision of Paolo Marra, curator of the Jazz Archive in Rome.
