Album recorded by the US drummer Kenny Clarke for the series "Jazz a Comparison" of the Horo label of the producer Aldo Sinesio. The disc was recorded on March 10, 1975 at the Titania Studios in Rome.

Kenny Clarke, a leading figure of the be bop period, arrived in Italy from Paris, where he has lived for several years Charlie Parker and Thelonious Monk, performs in concert at the Music Inn in Rome with a lineup made up of local musicians: Oscar Valdambrini, Dino Piana, Enrico Pieranunzi e Roberto Della Grotta. He is hired by the producer ofHorus label Aldo Sinesio, present at the concert, for the recording of an album for the “Jazz a Confronto” series. The wind instruments are present in his recording work Enzo Scoppa and Cicci Santucci.

The entire material recorded on analogue support was digitized and restored by the sound engineers of the Saint Louis College of Music in Rome under the supervision of Paolo Marra, curator of the Jazz Archive in Rome.
