Album recorded by saxophonist Gianni Basso for the “Jazz a Confronto” series, published by Aldo Sinesio's Horo label. The album was recorded in 1973 at the Titania Studios in Rome.

The double bass player and composer Bruno Tommaso in his book "The school I dreamed of – music as a common good, jazz as a dialogue” (Edipan editions) writes – “The Piedmontese saxophonist Gianni Basso he had recently moved to Rome to play permanently with the Light Music Orchestra of Television together with other "founding fathers" of Italian modern jazz. Neither he, nor the others subsequently, could escape the intentions and creative stimuli of Synesius".
