Il concerto riunisce quattro dei più importanti musicisti della scena jazz italiana, Enrico Pieranunzi, Enzo Pietropaoli, Roberto Gatto, Massimo Urbani col sassofonista statunitense Bob Berg, collaboratore negli anni di leggendarie figure del jazz, come Cedar Walton, Miles Davis, Chick Corea, e membro della formazione jazz-fusion Steps Ahead, con Mike Mainieri e Peter Erskine.

The tape containing the concert of Enrico Pieranunzi's quartet with Bob Berg in Piazza Municipio was shared by Enzo Pietropaoli. The entire material recorded on analogue support was digitized and restored by the sound engineers of the Saint Louis College of Music in Rome under the supervision of Paolo Marra, curator of the Jazz Archive in Rome.
