Album entitled “Sonorities” by the American composer and clarinetist Bill Smith. The album was recorded on 17 September 1977 in Rome and published by the Edi-Pan label with the artistic direction of Enrico Pieranunzi

The disc Sonorities was recorded by the American clarinetist and composer Bill Smith during the last days of his stay in Rome in September 1977. The pieces were recorded by the musician solo - with the use of techniques of superimposition of recorded parts and electrification of the clarinet - in duo , trio and quartet

The entire material recorded on analogue support was digitized and restored by the sound engineers of the Saint Louis College of Music in Rome under the supervision of Paolo Marra, curator of the Jazz Archive in Rome.
