Scholarship categories Social responsibility:
- Scholarships funded by the LAZIODISCO institution for the right to study in the Lazio Region
- facilitations (partial exemptions from the payment of fees) made available by Saint Louis
- collaboration scholarships
All types of scholarships can be provided only for the attendance of first and second cycle of academic courses and, if the student stays within the parameters, can also take advantage of more types of benefits, reducing in large part or even completely the costs of enrollment fees and attendance to courses.
Scholarships LAZIODISCO
For information on the scholarships provided by the Body for the right to study of the Lazio Region, please refer to the dedicated website.
In general, in addition to a series of additional services, LAZIODISCO scholarships provide a contribution from 1,900 euros up to 5,000 euros for each year of the course.
Financial aids provided by Saint Louis
The system of facilities implemented by Saint Louis is totally autonomous and self-financed, therefore not subsidized by the Italian State.
The facilities of Saint Louis are partial exemptions from the payment of registration fees for a value ranging from 500 to 2,500 euros for each year of the course (for full-time attendance).
They are intended exclusively for the students enrolled in first and second cycle academic courses.
The concessions for the first year of an academic course are assigned based on the following two parameters:
- Isee (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator) inferior to € 22,000
- for students coming from Saint Louis pre-academic courses, the final exam average mark must be 7.50 or higher. For each year of debt subject, a penalty of 0.50 on the average mark is considered.
- for students who have not attended pre-academic courses, the average mark of the admission test must be 26/30 or higher. For each year of debt subject, a penalty of 1 point on the average mark is considered.
For the assignment or confirmation of partial exemptions from the payment of fees for the second academic year:
- Isee (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator) inferior to € 22,000
- the student must have achieved at least 50 CFA (academic credits) with a weighted average mark of 26/30 or more by the September session
For the assignment or confirmation of partial exemptions from the payment of fees for the third academic year:
- Isee (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator) inferior to € 22,000
- the student must have obtained all 60 CFA (academic credits) related to the first academic year and at least 50 CFA related to the second academic year by the September session with an overall weighted average mark of 26/30 or more
It is not possible to take advantage of Saint Louis facilitations for any years out of the course.
Applications for Saint Louis grants can be submitted from 2 to 31 July of every year.
Please note: Partial exemptions from the payment of fees are compatible with Lazio Disco scholarships, you can get both.
Collaboration Scholarships
For the current academic year, Saint Louis announces a competition for the award of student collaboration scholarships, worth € 1,095 each to be given to students who collaborate with Saint Louis for a maximum of 150 hours of work per year.

Giorgia Mileto Scholarship
In memory of Giorgia Mileto, Saint Louis is promoting the Call for Applications for Scholarships to attend the I and II cycle of academic courses of the Jazz Department.
Giorgia Mileto Award
The Giorgia Mileto Award allows young talented musicians, in the field of Jazz and Popular Music, to attend the pre-academic and academic courses of the first and second academic cycles of Saint Louis with important discounts on the quota ranging from 40% up to 100% of the annual fee, for an annual value of each awardee between 2,000 and 4,500 euros.
All musicians who have not reached the age of 28 within nd not later than 10 of June 2022 can participate in the Giorgia Mileto Award.
The prize will be divided into two categories:
Ordinary, all musicians who are under 28 years of age as of June 10, 2022 and over 17 years of age as of June 10, 2022.
Under 18, all musicians who are under the age as of June 10, 2022.
Scholarships will be awarded through auditions open to all instrument and singing courses of the Jazz Department.
To access the auditions, the applicant has to send an audio and/or video recording (preferably) of two songs played in groups (duo, trio, quartet, etc.). Based on the material received, a pre-selection of students admitted to the hearing will be carried out.
The auditions will be held in September with a resident band / orchestra which will support all the applicants.
Saint Louis, which does not benefit from public contributions for its institutional activity, for the Giorgia Mileto Prize 2022 edition makes available a fund equal to € 20,000 of own resources.
