Scholarships

  • grants funded by the LAZIODISCO institution for the right to study in the Region Lazio
  • facilitations (partial exemptions from the payment of fees) made available by Saint Louis

Both types can only be provided for the attendance of first and second cycle academic courses and, if it falls within the parameters, it is also possible to take advantage of both facilitations, reducing to a large part or even altogether the costs of enrollment fees and attendance at courses.

For information on the scholarships provided by the Body for the right to study of the Lazio Region, please refer to the dedicated website.
In general, in addition to a series of additional services, LAZIODISCO scholarships provide a contribution from 1,900 euros up to 5,000 euros for each year of the course.

Facilitations provided for by Saint Louis

The system of facilitations implemented by Saint Louis is totally autonomous and self-financed, therefore not subsidized by the Italian State. The facilitations of Saint Louis are partial exemptions from the payment of registration fees for a value ranging from € 400 to € 1,500 for each year of the course (for full-time attendance).

They are intended exclusively for the students enrolled in first and second cycle academic courses.

The concessions for the first year of an academic course are assigned on the basis of two parameters:

  • Isee (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator) inferior to € 22,000
  • for students coming from Saint Louis pre-academic courses, the final exam average mark must be 7.50 or higher. For each year of debt subject, a penalty of 0.50 on the average mark is considered.
  • for students who have not attended pre-academic courses, the average mark of the admission test must be 26/30 or higher. For each year of debt subject, a penalty of 1 point on the average mark is considered.

For the assignment or confirmation of partial exemptions from the payment of fees for the second academic year:

  • Isee (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator) inferior to € 22,000
  • the student must have achieved at least 50 CFA (academic credits) with a weighted average mark of 26/30 or more by the September session

For the assignment or confirmation of partial exemptions from the payment of fees for the third academic year:

  • Isee (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator) inferior to € 22,000
  • the student must have obtained all 60 CFA (academic credits) related to the first academic year and at least 50 CFA related to the second academic year by the September session with an overall weighted average mark of 26/30 or more

It is not possible to take advantage of Saint Louis facilitations for any years out of the course.
Applications for Saint Louis grants can be submitted from 2 to 31 July of every year.

Please note: Partial exemptions from the payment of fees are compatible with Lazio Disco scholarships, you can get both.
