Alice Ricciardi

Alice Ricciardi, singer e compositrice, è nata a Milano ed attualmente vive a Roma. La musica fa da sempre parte della sua vita, fin da quando all’età di sette anni, frequentando il Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi, intraprende lo studio del violino.

From 1995 to 1999 she studied vocals at the Accademia Internazionale di Musica Jazz di Milano (International Academy of Jazz Music in Milan) conducted by Enrico Intra and Franco Cerri. She later specialized with the American singer Rachel Gould in Italy and with the legendary pianist Ran Blake in Boston. In 2002 he obtained, in France, the European diploma "F.N.E.I.J" (Fèdèration Nationale des Ecoles d'Influence Jazz et des Musiques Actuelles).

In 2005 she won the 2nd Prize at the Montreux Jazz Festival International Vocal Competition and was invited as a performer at the 2006 IAJE Conference (International Association for Intercultural Education Conference) in New York City, performing at IAJE and Dizzy's Club Jazz at the Lincoln Center. In 2015 she obtained the artistic visa "Artist Visa U.S.A. for Individuals with Extraordinary Ability in the Arts" which allows her to settle in New York and hold concerts in the United States.

”COMES LOVE” è il primo lavoro ideato e prodotto da Alice, album di debutto che viene pubblicato in tutto il mondo dalla Blue Note/EMI riscuotendo un grande successo di critica e pubblico. L’album seguente “OPTICS” è pubblicato dall’etichetta americana fondata dal sassofonista Greg Osby, Inner Circle Music. Di recente pubblicazione il suo ultimo album in duo col pianista Pietro Lussu, “CATCH A FALLING STAR” .

She collaborates with some of the most esteemed Italian and international musicians and has performed within the most prestigious Festivals and Clubs in much of the world.
