Claudio Mastracci after almost twenty years of activity, also held in the recording studio and on tour with various artists, Claudio Mastracci moved to the United States at the end of 1987, where he studied and graduated from the Drummers Collective in New York City. After attending the Collective for over four years as a student, he began collaborating with DCI Music Videos in 1991 as a consultant and translator of some of the most important educational videos for drums,, bass and guitar; this collaboration later extends to Warner Bros.

From the beginning of 1996 he joined the teaching group of the Drummers Collective, also providing his collaboration to the newest of the divisions of the New York school: the Bass Collective. From '93 onwards he divides himself between the United States and Italy, to participate in an innumerable series of television productions with the various orchestras of RAI and the Mediaset group, such as Fantastico, Scommettiamo che ?, L'Altra Domenica, La Corrida (ed. .'91, '92, '95, '97, '02, '03), San Remo Festival '87, Domenica In, David di Donatello 1998, San Remo "Tenco Award 1998", Vela d'Oro- Riva del Garda , Carramba what a surprise 2002, etc .; as well as recordings and tours with various Italian and foreign pop music artists; worked with Fabio Concato, Sergio Caputo, Eduardo De Crescenzo, Mike Francis, Rector, Patty Pravo, Loredana Bertè, Renato Zero, Dionne Warwick, Cristian De Sica, Gigi Proietti, Tony Esposito, Donatella Ruggero, Andrea Bocelli, Lucio Dalla, Albano Carrisi, Giusepe Di Stefano and with some of the most famous orchestra conductors such as: Bruno Canfora, Gianni Ferrio, Roberto Pregadio, Pippo Caruso, Gianfranco Lombardi, etc. His marked versatility, combined with a vast multi-stylistic background, allowed him to collaborate in the United States and Europe with artists from the predominantly jazz area, such as Oscar Valdambrini, Dino Piana, Randy Brecker, Scott Henderson, Gilberto Gil, Chuck Mangione, Jeff Andrews, Walter Booker, Toto Torquati, Mark Soskin.

In 1995 he composed and produced in New York the CD "TWO WORLDS", a work that put him at the helm, both in the recording studio and on tour in the United States and Italy, with a quartet formed by Joey Calderazzo on piano, Rick Margitza on saxophones and Harvie Swartz on double bass.

He has been teaching since 1985; He is currently in charge of the drum section at Saint Louis College of Music. He constantly holds clinics and drum master classes both in Italy and abroad, as well as being a valued columnist in the specialized magazines Drum Club, Percussioni, Drumset Mag. He has also collaborated with the All Times Orchestra and currently collaborates with Bruno Biriaco ' s Galaxy Big Band.
