David Logan composer multiple award-winning and nominated for the Hollywood Music in Media Award, graduate (magna cum laude) from Berklee College of Music.
In 1996 David moved to Los Angeles where he found immediate success as a composer in the video game industry. His credits include musical composition for extremely popular games such as X-Men – Mutant Academy (Activision), PacMan World 2 (Namco) and the re-released arcade classic Asteroids (Activision).
He composed the award-winning Heroes Over Europe epic soundtrack for Ubisoft (PS3, XBox 360, PC) and Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty (Marvel/Disney), nominated for the Hollywood Music in Media Award. He also composed the soundtrack to Valerian: City of Alpha (Spil Games), the official video game in Luc Besson 's film.
His music has been widely used on television, both in commercials, such as the Nike campaign for the 2004 Summer Olympics with Marion Jones, and in television programs such as Sex and the City (HBO), FaceOff (NBC) and Access Hollywood (NBC). David was also a featured composer for Disney's Ready or Not, which is currently in syndication in over 40 different countries and has won critical acclaim.
In 2016 David Logan moved to Italy to work on a series of feature films including his original score for The War of the Cafoni (Rai Cinema), which had its world premiere at the Rotterdam International Film Festival in 2017. Its original score for the film Rosa (Rai Cinema) premiered at the Shanghai International film festival in 2019.
In addition to his career as a composer and producer, David has a real passion for teaching video game composition and audio design. Fisrt at the Toronto Film School in Toronto and since 2016 has taken part of the Saint Louis teaching board for courses in the Department of Applied Music.
