Lorenzo Tucci

Lorenzo Tucci is among the batteristi most popular Italians. His eclecticism and enormous talent have allowed him to become the inevitable partner of numerous jazz stars.
He has a list of numerous successful albums, including: Sparkle, Tranety, Touch, Drumonk, Lunar, Drumpet,written to name a few projects in which he demonstrates the ability to express himself in very different formations.

With Fabrizio Bosso and Daniele Scannapieco was the founder of the High Five quintet considered for years the best Italian jazz formation, to their credit six CDs including a live recorded at the Blue Note in Tokyo, one of the temples of world jazz.
In 2006, with the High Five quintet, "Handful of soul" was recorded with crooner Mario Biondi and over 500,000 copies were sold worldwide.

The prestigious collaborations have never limited Tucci from the role of band leader by creating multifaceted projects, in which the artist expresses his skills as a composer, arranger and deep connoisseur of the jazz universe.
Over the years, he has collaborated with numerous artists such as Phil Woods, Tony Scott, Ronnie Cuber, George Garzone, Mark Turner, Tim Warfield, Emmanuel Bex, Kirk Lightsey, George Cables, Joanne Brakeen, Fabrizio Bosso, Massimo Urbani, Danilo Rea, Enrico Pieranunzi, Flavio Boltro, Giovanni Tommaso, Mario Biondi, Max Ionata, Maurizio Giammarco, Karima, Max Ionata, Stefano Di Battista, Dado Moroni, Rosario Giuliani, Daniele Scannapieco and many others.
