Luciano Vanni fondatore e amministratore delegato della casa editrice Vanni Editore srl e fondatore dell’organizzazione nazionale Civitates, attiva sui temi dell’innovazione sociale e dello sviluppo delle comunità lcoali italiane attraverso la cultura, la musica e le arti.

He is editor and director of the magazines JAZZIT (dedicated to jazz music), MUS (dedicated to rock music) and Il Turismo Culturale (Cultural Tourism) (dedicated to traveling) and as an author he conceived and signed an editorial and multimedia series on behalf of De Agostini spa "Jazz 33 giri: I grandi capolavori del jazz in vinyl" and the Istituto della Enciclopedia Italiana G.Treccani "L'Italia in Piccolo".

Alongside the activity of publisher, author, essayist and writer, he is also active on the educational front (music business, music writing, event organization and social innovation) and has given conferences and training courses on behalf of the Rome Business School, the European Academy of Florence, the Teatro Forma in Bari, the Federiciana Musical Academy in Andria and the Conservatory of Music of Latina.

As for the organization and production of events, between 1999 and 2019, he signed Terni in Jazz (seven editions), grand tour jazz fest (two editions) and jazzit fest (eight editions).

On the social innovation front, he is a consultant for Cassa Depositi e Prestiti in the 'CDP Art and Culture' office, and within the scientific committee of UNICEF – Soundz For Children and thanks to the experience promoted in Umbria with the Jazzit Fest he was awarded with the European best practice entitled "Culture Shapes The Smart City" and good practice #laculturachevince. He is the creator and producer of A-CHANGE: the festival of good practices.
