Manifesto) by Javier Girotto and Vertere string quartet, presented, among others, at the Villa Celimontana Festival, at Atina Jazz, at the Auditorium Parco della Musica, at the Teatro della Pergola in Florence, at the festival "Le strade del Jazz" in Bologna, on Rai Radio3, at the "Mudus" Festival in Reggio Emilia. Some pieces of this project were performed by Federico Mondelci with the Moscow Chamber Orchestra at the "Tchaikovsky Hall" in Moscow, in Munich with the Padua and Veneto Symphony Orchestra, at the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall, in Tabernash (Colorado), with the Carpe Diem String Quartet, at the Burton Center for Performing Arts, Fallbrook, California, with the Italian saxophone quartet.

OJS plays the Music of James Taylor", of the Jazz Orchestra of Sardinia with belgian singer and composer David Linx. Presented at the Teatro Lirico in Cagliari. Some pieces of this work, were performed in 2014 at the Centre for the Performing Arts in Vancouver by the "A Band" directed by Brad Turner and in 2017 at the Luxembourg Conservatory, at the Blue Note in Amsterdam.
Extempora (ed. Parco della Musica Records) with Daniele Tittarelli and NTJO conducted by Mario Corvini, performed at the Casa del Jazz, at the Auditorium parco della Musica in Rome and at the Teatro Morlacchi in Perugia as part of umbria jazz.
Luigi Giannatempo torna a collaborare con il sassofonista argentino Javier Girotto, curando gli arrangiamenti di “Musica Argentina para Big Band” (ed. Parco della Musica records) con la “Parco della Musica Jazz Orchestra”; presentato: all’Auditorium, al “Teatro Coliseo” di Buenos Aires, al North Sea Jazz Festival, al Festival Internazionale del Jazz di Cordoba, al “Teatro Eliseo di Roma” con Beppe Servillo, a Zagabria con la Big Band della Radio Croata.

His music was performed on the occasion of the "Autumn in Jazz" Festival, organized by the Auditorium Parco della Musica, in which twelve conductors (including Bruno Tommaso, Marco Tiso, Mario Raja, Maurizio Giammarco) direct the PMJO (Parco della Musica Jazz Orchestra) through a repertoire composed of original arrangements and compositions.

In 2012, he curated the ensemble arrangements of a Gino Paoli concert. His songs were performed by the Big Bands of the conservatories of: Adria, Rovigo, Pescara, Rome and the saxophone exemble of the Bari Conservatory.
He collaborated later again with Orchestra Jazz della Sardegna in a new production with Marta Raviglia, entitled "Lapses of Silence". A work in which the music of Bernstein, Ives, Copland and Barber are revisited.
In July 2017, he performed a series of his arrangements for flicorno and piano at Carnegie Hall in New York.
In 2018, he rearrange in an orchestral key some compositions by Paolo Fresu, which are performed at the Teatro Verdi in Sassari with L'Orchestra Jazz della Sardegna with Fresu as soloist.
In September 2018 and January 1, 2019, Greg Ruvolo Big Band performed some of his arrangements at Birdland in New York.
He studied with: Aldo Clementi, Marcello Piras, Marco Tiso, Martin Joseph. He attended the course of high specialization in composition and arrangement of Siena Jazz under the guidance of Giancarlo Gazzani, of whom he later became assistant.
He also studied in the United States, attending the Postgraduate Diploma in Jazz Composition at the Manhattan School of Music in New York where he studied, among others, with: Richard DeRosa, Chris Rosemberg, Joan Stiles, Elias Tanenbaum, Ludmila Ulehla.
He is an educator in jazz composition and arrangement at the Saint Louis College of Music.
