The trio debuts at the Casa del Jazz on July 10, but the three soloists have often played together in different formations. In particular, Damiani and Giuliani have been collaborating for some time in a duo and both have often crossed paths with the extraordinary Turin percussionist.

Paolo Damiani he is a musician of great planning, who has developed an original and European jazz language, distinguishing himself for his ability to bring the aesthetics of jazz to life in contexts different from the traditional ones.

Rosario Giuliani it is instead one of the great new realities of international jazz. Already an exclusive artist of the prestigious French label Dreyfus Jazz, for which he has already recorded important albums, he has just released a new work for the Auditorium Parco della Musica Records label, with Damiani as guest.

Michele Rabbia he is among the most original percussionists in the world, also for the synthesis he invented between drums and electronics, towards the jazz to come.

DAMIANI - GIULIANI - ANGER. The repertoire is almost entirely based on edited and unpublished compositions by Damiani and Giuliani. In the pieces, although strongly structured, the lines of the counterpoint tend to generate open and flexible sound spaces in which the breath and the sudden gesture dance freely and with joy. The cantability of the compositions never renounces research, intended above all as curious listening, invention, amazement, ironic wandering, pleasure, enjoyment.
