Lenny White Master Class is one of the founding fathers of drums, Jazz-Rock- Fusion. Musicista versatile, oltre ad essere una leggenda della batteria è anche autore, eccellente compositore (sta ultimando di comporre un’intera opera lirica) e produttore artistico.

Guadagna la fama mondiale e il successo con grande pubblico grazie ai Return to Forever la storica band che lo vede nella metà degli anni ’70 con Chick Corea, Stanley Clarke and Al Di Meola, but already a teenager, left-handed and self-taught drummer, is hired by personalities of Jazz who will mark his professional and artistic growth in a decisive way.

In 1967 Jackie McLean hires him as a young boy to play in his band and within a couple of years Lenny participates in the album that will mark an epochal turning point in jazz history "Bitches Brew" with Miles Davis and Freddie Hubbard's "Red Clay" engraved. both in 1970.

Always looking for new stimuli and challenges in 1982 he is the creator of the straight-ahead Jazz album "Griffith Park" (with Korea, Clarke, Henderson, Hubbard) and creator of the project that consecrates Chaka Khan in Jazz and is worth the nomination at the Grammy "Echoes of an era".
Scopritore di talenti ingaggia per primo Marcus Miller per il suo disco“Streamline”nel 1978 e per il gruppo Jamaica Boys. Scopre Rachelle Ferrel che produrrà come Chaka Khan, Diane Reeves, Nancy Wilson, Marlena Shaw. Compone colonne sonore e lavora in produzioni di ogni tipo definendo il suo genere una miscela di Jazz, Rock e Urban pop.
Con l’inizio del nuovo millennio arriva il successo del tour CBW (Larry Coryell, Victor Bailey, and Lenny White) , segue la reunion dei Return to Forever che nel 2008 riscuote un successo mondiale e subito dopo riparte in tour con Corea e Clarke nel CCW World Tour Trio del 2009. Nel 2010 esce il suo 13° album “Anomaly”.
In 2010 he co-produced "The Stanley Clarke Band" and the live album "Forever" which documents the Korea-Clarke-White tour. In 2011 he starts again with "Return2Forever IV" on a world tour. Since 2012 he has been collaborating with Letizia Gambi, an Italian vocalist whom he discovered and of which he produced two albums, one of which has just been released. He has won 5 Grammy Awards.
