In an era when pedalboards, laptops and sampling have become the order of the day, Eric Steckel goes against the grain and draws his listeners back to the days when great guitars were played loud through large amps.

Hailed by many as blues rock's foremost rising star, Eric wowed audiences around the world with his performances. He brings an energy and passion to the stage that never disappoints and his signature blend of Bluesmetal is a must see for fans of vintage rock.

Few young guitarists can boast Eric Steckel's impressive resume. The debut CD "A Few Degrees Warmer" was recorded live in April 2002 when he was only 11 years old. It isn't long before he appears at the 2003 Sarasota Blues Festival, where Eric's powerful set becomes the “trend topic” of the day and is presented by blues legend John Mayall as the youngest guitarist on stage with the Bluesbreakers. Eric left a lasting impression on Mayall inviting him to join the Scandinavian tour of the Bluesbreakers and then in 2005 the recording session for "Road Dogs".

Later, Eric participates in festivals in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and Italy. He opened for Johnny Winter at The Paradiso in Amsterdam, wowed audiences at the Tegelen Bluesrock Festival and shared the primetime stage with Gregg Allman at the legendary Pistoia Blues Festival.

He has released numerous critically acclaimed live and studio albums. 2006's “Havana” was a hit among Blues guitar lovers. 2008's "Feels Like Home" featuring the talented Duane Trucks on drums contains Hits such as "The Ghetto" and "Just Walk Away". In 2012, Eric was back in the studio to record "Dismantle The Sun". In 2015, he recorded "Black Gold", a studio album featuring some of the best producers, sound engineers and musicians. The current "Polyphonic Prayer" is his most successful album to date, where Eric, apart from the drums, plays all instruments, Eric Steckel stella nascente del Rock-Blues.
