Scott Henderson
Born in 1956 in Florida, Scott begins to hit the scene in South Florida playing songs ranging from Led Zeppelin to James Brown. His style is formed on the notes of Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Jimi Hendrix, Ritchie Blackmore, Albert King and Buddy Guy, but the path he takes in the study of jazz and his expressive possibilities lead him to develop a language very personal.
After completing his studies at Florida Atlantic University, he moves to Los Angeles where he will play and record with Chick Corea's Elektric Band, violinist Jean-Luc Ponty, with Weather Report.
Former leader of Tribal Tech, in 1994 he returned to his youth passions by recording the first album of his blues band: "Dog Party", which was followed in 1997 by "Tore Down House". The following decade will be full of commitments both with Tribal Tech and the various blues bands, and with the publication of two didactic videos: “Jazz Fusion Imrovisation” and “Melodic Phrasing“.
