The Villa Carpegna festival is underway for a month of concerts between big names and young promises, with a program that ranges from jazz to blues, from author's to popular music. And many events with free admission.

In the greenery of the park of Villa Carpegna, the summer appointment with Odio l’Estate begins: a month of music with over 50 concerts for a festival that features famous names in jazz, blues, author and popular music. On stage, for the appointment of the Estate Romana, Italian and international musicians together with more than one hundred young people from the Saint Louis College of Music in Rome, involved in the opening of the concerts or alongside more established colleagues.

I hate summer Villa Carpegna festival hosts 6 different reviews this year, with 20 free concerts. Numerous original productions, with artists brought together in unprecedented formations designed specifically for the festival.

Cam Jazz Night

It starts on 6 and 7 July with Cam Jazz Night, organized by the jazz label, partner and technical sponsor of the festival, which stands out for the refinement of its proposals. Among others, two exclusive evenings with the latest productions by avant-garde artists of Scandinavian jazz and the quintet of the young Fulvio Sigurtà.

Roma Jazz’s Cool

From 10 to 18 July it is the turn of Roma Jazz's Cool. Also on the calendar are three evenings with the Roman pianist Enrico Pieranunzi, in duo with Danilo Perez, with the trio John Patitucci and Joe La Barbera and with a quintet of stars: Rosario Giuliani, Flavio Boltro, Dedè Ceccarelli and John Patitucci.

A fertile strip of land

From the 26th to the 30th of July A fertile land strip is back, the fourteenth edition of the Franco-Italian festival directed by Paolo Damiani and Armand Meignan, an example of prolific and lasting international collaboration.

Rome Tarantella Festival

Si prosegue l’8 e il 9 luglio con Roma Tarantella Festival, due serate con sei orchestre originali provenienti dalla Calabria e dalla Campania, con Mimmo Cavallaro & Taranproject feat. Bungaro e Carlo D’Angiò, Sciarabballo e molti altri per la direzione artistica di Eugenio Bennato.

Saint Louis Blues Knights

And then, from 19 to 21 July, Saint Louis Blues Knights, the first appointment with the blues at Villa Carpegna, with the Roberto Ciotti quintet and the international collaboration of the guitarist Lello Panico with the singer and author Tollak.
