Elio Tatti
Composer and arranger graduated in double bass at the Conservatory "L. Refice" of Frosinone. Later in Jazz with honors at the Conservatory "O. Respighi" of Latina.
He has collaborated with numerous symphonic and chamber orchestras (Accademia Musicale Romana, I Filarmonici di Roma, Roma Sinfonietta.) and, under the direction of Maestro Ennio Morricone, he recorded various soundtracks (Abramo, Senso 45, La Sconosciuta etc.).
Since 1996, he has been a member of Giorgio Zagnoni's Quartet, an internationally renowned flutist with whom he recorded several CDs. He has toured all over the world (Canada, USA, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Mexico, Brazil, England, France, Spain) and in 1997, he held a concert at the "Carnegie Hall" in New York.
In the jazz field, he has collaborated with important Italian musicians – Romano Mussolini, Gianni Basso, Franco Cerri – and was a permanent member for eight years of the "Nicola Arigliano Quartet", with whom he recorded several CDs and in 2005, he won the Critics' Award at the 55th Sanremo Festival.
He has participated in the major jazz festivals – Umbria jazz 2001-2003, Umbria jazz Winter – and has to his credit a CD, "Tattitattoo", as frontman.
